The Recreation Vehicle Safety & Education Foundation proudly announces the RV Lifestyle, Education & Safety Conference to be held in Bowling Green, KY, June 3-6, 2010. The conference is a unique education opportunity for current and potential RV owners to learn about all aspects of RVing. Classes will include Lifestyle courses, Safety courses, Technical courses, and Extended Time courses. There is also a plan to hold a mini maintenance course for those RVers who want to become more comfortable with the operations of their RV’s as well as learn some hands on maintenance. Hands on Driving will also be available.
This conference will allow consumers to learn about the RV lifestyle, to learn how to select the right RV for them, understand operation & maintenance of different components of their units, provide an opportunity to complete the RVSEF Driver Safety Program and receive a certificate of completion for a possible insurance discount. In addition, participants will be able to develop camaraderie with fellow RVers all in a college like atmosphere.
RVSEF would like to honor the late Gaylord Maxwell, founder of the Life on Wheels program, by continuing the excellent program he started. RVSEF supported Life on Wheels and it is our belief that this type of program is needed and wanted by RV consumers. Therefore, we are committed to putting together our RV Lifestyle, Education & Safety Conference similar to that of Life on Wheels. We hope everyone agrees and that many will participate.
Keep checking the website www.rvsafety.com or call 321-453-7673 for more Conference information. Space is limited so call today to reserve your spot at the Conference.
The RV Safety & Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization with its principle place of business in Merritt Island, Florida. It is dedicated to the improvement of recreation vehicle safety, with a focus on consumer education. The organization is tax exempt under Internal Revenue Section 501(c)(3).
RVSEF began as A'Weigh We Go (AWWG) in 1993 as an RV weighing program. As time passed, we quickly realized that there was a need for RV weight and tire education, so we began our safety seminar programs. Our seminar programs and weighing service became the recognized source of accurate, unbiased information for the RV owner who was serious about operating his RV safely. AWWG was the beginning of a revolution in the RV Industry, and was responsible in part for the weight disclosure labels now found in new RVs, as well as a heightened interest by RV manufacturers in the weight of their products.
