Nathan Bear (Cequent) is the Eastern Regional Technical Trainer for Cequent Towing Products. Nathan spent almost nine years with Stag-Parkway, one of the largest aftermarket RV parts distributors in the country. After that he owned a RV parts and service business in South Florida and then worked in sales and service for an RV business in Georgia prior to going to work for Cequent
Gary Bunzer (The RV Doctor) Gary has been serving the RV industry since 1968 and continues to author technical articles, troubleshooting tips, installation guides and owner’s manuals for RV owners, suppliers and manufacturers. Additionally, he writes and edits textbooks and curriculum materials for RVIA and RVDA. Broadcast quality training DVDs are also a focus of Gary’s educational efforts for RVers and professional RV service technicians. Gary’s column, TH RV Doctor, has been in continuous monthly publication for 33 years. It is published monthly as House Call with TH RV Doctor in Family Motor Coach Magazine and quarterly in RV View Magazine. Gary is also the author of Woodall’s RV Owner’s Handbook, a popular do-it-yourself manual generically written for RVs. Gary is also the instructor and facilitator of Northampton Community College’s comprehensive Distance Learning RV Technician Training Program. Gary’s live seminars and workshops remain in high demand by discerning RV Show promoters and his audiences always come away with new insight into the technicalities of recreation vehicles. He is one of the RV industries most sought after speakers at both the trade and consumer levels.
Walter Cannon (RVSEF) is the Executive Director of RV Safety & Education Foundation. He serves as an informational member of RVIA Standard Steering Committee. Walter is a 20 year veteran of the RV industry, spending 15 years as a full-timer. Walter has owned his own RV accessory business on the road, represented several aftermarket companies, served as a Service manager for dealerships and Camping World and has been with A’ Weigh We Go, now (RVSEF) since 1993. Walter has presented seminars for the RV industry since 1988. He has taught at RVIA Troubleshooting Clinic, Life on Wheels conferences, dealerships, RV shows and rallies. Walter works daily promoting Safety & Education in the RV Industry.
Jim & Chris Guld (Geeks on Tour) - Chris owned & operated a computer training center (Computer Savvy) in Ft Lauderdale FL for 14 years. She was a certified instructor and specialized in data base development with MS Access, and a past president of the International Computer Training Association. Jim was a network administrator at Computer Savvy managing over one hundred computers and taught Windows NT as a Microsoft Certified Instructor and was later a network administrator for an ISP, construction firm and numerous small businesses and professionals. In 2003, they became full-time RVers and were later contracted to provide WI-FI technology support to RV parks across the country and in 2006 started Geeks on Tour.
Al Hesselbart (RV Hall of Fame) – Al is an RV historian and former manager of the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart IN. Al has written more than twenty-five feature articles on RV history and appeared on television and in several documentaries.
Dennis Hill (RV Driving School) – Dennis & his wife Carol have been RVing since 1971. In June 2000, they started full timing and have been ever since. They have owned a variety of converted vans, towables, and fifth wheels with both pickups and medium duty over the years. In addition, they have owned Class A’s to include both gas and diesel. Dennis has experience with nationwide big truck driving and transporting both new towables and motorhomes. He has worked for RV Driving School for two years as a RV Driver Instructor prior to purchasing the RV School in January 2007. Dennis and Carol now give seminars on various RV topics and RV driving at shows across the country.
Bruce Hopkins (RVIA) is the Vice President of Standards and Education for the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) in Reston, VA. RVIA is the national association of RV manufacturers and component parts suppliers, who together produce more then 95 percent of all RVs in the nation. Bruce has worked in the area of RV standards for 36 years and has been directly associated with the RV industry for over 42 years. He is an active member & secretary of the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) Technical Committee on RVs and served on American National Standards Institute (ANSI). He is responsible for overseeing the operations of RVIA Standards Steering Committee. His principal responsibilities are the association’s standards programs for RVs and the direction of the educational efforts aimed at developing and strengthening the skills and knowledge of RV service technicians. He is also responsible for developing and producing educational materials for RV service technicians, aimed at training and certifying these technicians.
Rick & Joyce Lang (RVSEF) have been full timing for 4 years. As RV Weight Specialist for RVSEF, they travel the country giving RV Weight Safety and RV Tire Safety seminars at various rallies, as well as weigh RVs for attendees to determine if they are operating their units within safety limitations of the units and to establish correct air pressure for tires.
George “Mac” McCoy (The Fire Guy) has served 35 years in the fire service and holds a BS Degree in Fire Science and a Masters Degree in Fire Administration. Mac has served as a firefighter, paramedic, Captain, Assistant Chief of Training, Deputy State Fire Marshal, and Deputy Sheriff, 12 years as Fire Training Coordinator for Oregon’s Fire Marshal’s Office and Public Safety Academy. Mac has taught fire safety to civilians, military, firefighters, law enforcement, corrections officers and Boy Scouts of America in both the US and overseas. For the past 13 years he has devoted his time to teaching RVers how to stay safe while on the road.
Gary Motley (Motley RV Repair) is a Master Certified Technician and a member of the national dealers association (RVDA) Learning Center Faculty. Gary is also a member of the RV Industry Education Committee and an informational member of the RVIA Standards Steering Committee. Gary has been in the RV business since 1963 and has operated his own service center (Motley RV Repair) in Oklahoma City, OK since 1993. Gary has also worked in design engineering for a factory and sales manager for a large dealership. Gary has written many articles for consumers, as well as RV dealership managers and technicians.
Ken Neuman (Protect All) National Marketing Manager for Protect All. Ken brings many years of experience related to cleaning and care of the various surfaces specifically in RVs. He has personally cleaned and demonstrated various products in multiple industries. Ken has attended many RV shows and rallies teaching about the care and maintenance of the exterior and interior of RVs.
Howard Payne (RV-Dreams.com) Howard and Linda have been full-time RVers for five years and run the website RV-Dreams.com. Howard and Linda left the corporate world at the age of forty-one in 2005 to pursue life on the road. Howard is a former attorney and accountant and Linda is a former operations manager. Both have owned businesses and are experienced trainers. They have done seminars for Life on Wheels, and the Florida SuperShow as well as their own RV-Dreams Rallies.
Ed Thor (Coach-Net) is the Vice President of Sales for Coach-Net Technical and Roadside Assistance
Lev Vaysman (GMAC) is the RV Senior Product Manager for GMAC Insurance. Lev has been affiliated with GMAC Insurance, Good Sam VIP, Camping World RV & Auto Insurance, and Monaco Vehicle Insurance Program for more than 5 years.
Gaylord Wooge (Farm & City Insurance Services) is the President of Farm & City Insurance Services in Forest City, IA. Farm & City is an Independent Insurance Agency representing various different companies and underwrites personal lines, commercial, and life/health products. In 1982, Farm & City originated the RV Replacement Cost Coverage, (no depreciation).
