RV Techinical Institute (RVTI) is the RV industry Technician certification and training facility. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with them to bring a special opportunity for those who attend the RVSEF Technical Education & Safety Training Conference.

Starting the week following the conference RVTI will be holding a special Level 1 training course for those who wish to pursue this type of opportunity.

Special Training Offer for Conference Attendees

RVTI is offering a 25% discount on the Level 1 training for those who attend the conference. The normal cost for level 1 training and certification is $1000. For those attending the conference, the cost will only be $750..

The Level 2 program is about 8 weeks long. RVTI is offering a 28% discount on the Level 2 training for those who take the courses in 8 consecutive weeks. The normal cost for level 2 training and certification is $1000/week or $8000. The RVSEF attendee cost will only be $5000.

What is this Certification

Level 1 Certification?

The new RV Technician career path is divided into 4 levels of proficiency. Level 1 is a pre-delivery inspection (PDI) technician with a proven skill set to prepare an RV for customer delivery by verifying the operation of all components. Level 1 certification covers 11 education modules over a 7 day period of training & testing.

How Do I Acheive Level 1 Certification?

Complete the course modules and successfully pass the Level 1 written and skills-based (practical) exams.

How Long Does Level 1 Certification Last?

Level 1 certification is good for life and has no recertification or continuing Education requirements.

Additional Training at an Even Greater Savings

For those who want to go further and get significantly more detailed instruction and certification, RVTI will be also providing a discount for Level 2 training for those attending the conference.

Level 2 Certification?

A Level 2 certified Technician has the theoretical knowledge of all the systems and components within an RV and a proven skill set to be able to perform basic diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on those systems and components. Level 2 certification consists of 26 modules over about 8 weeks of training.

How Do I Acheive Level 2 Certification?

Complete the course modules and successfully pass the Level 1 & 2 written and skills-based (practical) exams.

How Long Does Level 2 Certification Last?

Level 2 certification is good for 5 years. Over the 5 year certification time, the technician must acquire 24 hours of continuing education credits (CEUs) of approved hands-on or online trainings. No trainings older than 5 years will be counted. Yearly information and employment verification check-in is required to stay active.
